Mixture Sciences, Inc. is a world wide leader in the use of mixture-based peptide, peptidomimetic and small molecule combinatorial libraries, for the development of T-cell based therapeutic vaccines and diagnostics for cancer, diabetes, multiple sclerosis, and infectious diseases, including Lyme Disease. We have developed our technology platform around the use of Positional Scanning Libraries. We have obtained and continue to obtain numerous peptide, peptidomimetic and small molecule libraries in the Positional Scanning format. Positional Scanning Libraries have been successfully used in a wide range of bioassays by a number of groups from both pharmaceutical companies and academic institutions. Novel enzyme inhibitors, agonists, and antagonists to specific receptors, antimicrobial, antifungal, and antiviral compounds, and B- and T-cell epitopes have been identified from such libraries.
